Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Good command in shell scripting and expertise in at least one of these languages: perl, python, or ruby
- Setup and administration of common nix services like:
- Centralized authentication using NIS, LDAP etc.
- Web servers like Apache, Nginx etc.
- Load balancers like HAProxy, Pound, etc.
- Cloud fabric like Openstack, Eucalyptus, Nebula, etc.
- Databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
- File system Samba, NFS, Gluster, etc.
- CM tools like Chef or Puppet
- VCS tools like SVN or Git
- Monitoring tools like Sensu, Nagios, etc.

- At least 2 years Linux system Administration experience with Red Hat, SUSE or Ubuntu OS platform
- Basic understanding of network technologies
- OpenStack administration experience
- MySQL administration experience
- Shell Scripting and automation skills are a major plus
